Titled ?Plan of Gettysburg with the battlefield of July 2nd & 3rd, 1863 and the National Cemetery?, this offering was done by mid 1800s lithographer Augustus Meisel of Boston and may be referenced in the Library of Congress collection. In a nicely frameable 18X26 inch size the sheet shows battlefield troop positions, roads, railroads, streams, and a few houses as well as an insert plan for the Gettysburg National Cemetery. In pleasing condition on its face with folds that may be ironed out, the sheet has two minor seam separations are archivally repaired on the back.
