original – 1849 California Gold Miner COUNTER TOKEN

Description

This attractive California gold rush dated counter token will best be described as to condition by our photo illustrations (we have included a quarter for size comparison) except to advise that it is untouched with minimal wear with a natural age patina and is attractive as it looks.  With a Liberty head, 13 stars and 1849 date on the obverse this counter or gaming token offers the figure of a kneeling prospector with sack, pick, shovel and CALIFORNIA with the date 1849 on the reverse all with a crisp reed edge.   Buy with confidence! Like all of our direct sales this item will come with a three-day inspection provision with reimbursement of item price upon return as purchased.  Thanks for visiting Gunsight Antiques!
