A special opportunity for the purest, this old 1795 Springfield is ready to display as is or with the acquisition of a frizzen spring and top jaw with screw and some properly applied TLC will clean to NRA fine. Best described here by our several illustrations as to condition and eye appeal, suffice it to say that with the exception of the most minor evidence of period use and carrying (Likely the result of early issue loss of the top jaw screw from over tightening.) this, the earliest model of Springfields, remains in exceptional condition with strong markings.
