Hand fashioned from birch bark cut and stitched together with grass then set off with braids from the same material, this attractive antique box measures 6 ˝ by 3 3/8 inches wide and remains in excellent condition in every respect while offering pleasing evidence of age and originality. Generally attributed to the Penobscot or Passamaquoddy tribes found here in Maine, this circa 1800s Native American box will set well in any period environment. Buy with confidence!
