Once a relatively common find as they were released to antique sales from decades of attic storage such little bronze bells with its turned maple handle and iron clapper is now a scarce item on the antique and decorator market. (The awful habit of polishing off the decades of rich age patina only makes the original pure examples more desirable.) Illustrated here with a quarter for size comparison, this little bronze bell stands approximately 6 inches high and measures just under 3 ¼ inches across the mouth. A good size for desk or counter, this bell remains in untouched and completely original with no condition issues.
