Un-polished and as found, the pewter displays a wonderful original luster and the tin pocket case retains nearly all of its the original bright japanned lacquer finish without the usual scratches. Though somewhat fragile, these soft pewter traveling cups were a popular item in the soldier’s collection of traveling personal items.
