This wonderful pair of inscribed bronze candlesticks stand 14 inches high and remain in excellent original condition with a soft age patina. Each 5 3/8 inch square base is boldly script engraved The Independent Coal Traders Friendly Society / ESTbd. - 31st - JANy. – 1862 . A neat pair for the Civil War era lighting collector, early trade association enthusiast or just to sit out as a nice decorative set.
