An attractive little basket, hand crafted in the classic style of the Civil War era American South. This example is in excellent condition without the usual breaks and loose ends and is fashioned from the light palm frond indicative of the local palmetto. The basket measures approximately 5 ½ “ high and 6 1/2” in diameter at its’ widest point.
