We have a small quantity of post Civil War Maine militia frock coat button and are offering them here priced individually for the collector who would enjoy one without paying the higher price of a Civil War vintage Maine uniform button. Will look nice in your Civil War collection or as a fill in till you can afford the higher priced mid 19th century example. These are -Simmons & Son – Boston – backmarked and date from about 1882 though the face design and construction remains unchanged from the Civil War example.
